A Good News

Finally, our Dept has decided to process the pension cases, without considering the +2 increments. The relevant para of the Om dt 24-5-2019 is given below. 



Sub:  Two additional increments granted to Scientists/Engineers in
the grade of SD, SE, SF and SG for the purpose of pensionary
benefits.

DOS OM No.A. 12021t13t2016-l dated OgtOBt2O17.

References are being received in the Department informing that Central
Pension Accounting Office, Ner.l Delhi is returning Pension Payrnent Orders (PPOs)
issued by the Centres/lJnits of the Department without authorising'pension in
respect of Scientists/ Engineers retired from the grades of SD, SE, SF and SG on
plea that the two additionat increments granted to them do not match as the notional
pay so arived are not fii in the Cell of pay Matrix/Level in the 7ft CpC
2. The matter was taken up with Department of Pension anct- Pensioners'
Wetfare who are the Nodal Departrnent for all matters pertaining to pension to
Central Govemment employees. ln the meantime, in order to avoid any hardship to
the pensioners due to. non-receipt of pension, it has been decided in the Department
that such pension.cases may be processed for payment of provisional pension
without takinq into account the two additional increments as a temporarv
measure untilthe matter is resolved.
3. ln case the pension drawn by the pensioners is more than the pension
calculated without taking into account the two additional increments as a temporary
measure, such cases need not be revised.'

Congratulations ISRO.  We all wish you the best. And we are confident that you will win. After all, you are on a very safe and  sound base, which we all built for you.  You add on to it and win... win... and win always.

But why do you forget  your  seniors who built them for you ?  This is not humane.  Please do justice to us, and give us the right Pension as per 7CPC and Court orders. We don't expect anything else, and no favors.  

This deed of justice would take a minute for the decision by Chairman ISRO and a day's work by a few Admn staff. Can't that be done before you go to Moon next time ?

The Surgical Strike

It certainly is. A surgical strike in every sense.

The striker flew in... Struck ...  and flashed back !  What else it is ??

I am referring to the "surgical strike" made by one of our very senior colleagues (retired) on to the newly formed "WhatsApp Group" named Engineers 2 Increment  by ISRO Pensioners' Association.

I know all my ISRO colleagues are learned pundits. However I thought the following news/facts may interest them all. And may them think over !!

Koreikashakai - in Japanese, this means  "Pensioner Prisoners".

The Japanese enjoy the world's longest and healthiest lives.This fortunate situation, however, is also causing concern.   There are many old people living alone. No family, no friends, no money, none to help, not even the Govt to help !

They steal food from Stores and Hotels.  Obviously, they are caught by Police, and sent to Jail.  Jail gives them all they want !  Food, cloths, Shelter, medicines, and many friends and past-time !!
