50 days to a great event ! On Sept 24, our Mars Orbiter Mission will land its payload on the red planet Mars !!
MOM is now on a long journey to Mars, after a few risky course corrections. The last course corection was on June 11. Another couse correction is expected next month, before the final thrust into the Mars orbit.
Let's all wish all the best to MOM teams, and ISRO.

Hike in Pension and Perks
The Pension and other perks will immediately be hiked. Not for Employees or Pensioners, but only for MPs !
Government is actively considering increasing the monthly Pension of MPs , from Rs.20000 to Rs. 35000, with immediate effect. They'll get an additional pension of Rs.2000 , for every year of term above 5 years (now it's 1500). All MPs are eligible for pension, no matter how many years of service. That's not over. They'll be eligible for better family pension and other benefits.
Do you know that an MP earns the following monthly:
Salary Rs. 50000
Allowances 45000
Office allowance 30000
Daily sittingallowance 2000
And other special allowances and previleges.

The 25th SCOVA meetig scheduled on 24-7-2014 has been postponed "due to unavoidable circumstances" (according to an info from Ministry of PPG and P, Dept of P&PW ).
Any comments on how important is "Pensoms and Pesioners' Welfare" to our Government ?
