Hot on Mars, But short everywhere else

Hot on Mars, but short everywhere else.
Today's BusinessLine carries an article by  Sri. M. Matheswaran (Retd. Air Marshal).  He writes " ISRO is steadily killing India's digital dreams with its inability to provide Satellite support, even for television".

A very serious allegation ( rather a statement of facts) on ISRO.  He further quotes the CAG report and says " The CAG report has rightly blamed ISRO for poor planning and execution. It had planned for a target of 500 transponders on domestic satellites in the 11th Plan Period (2007-12) and further increasing to 800 transponders in the 12 th Plan (2012-17). In practice ISRO could operationalise only 187 transponders during this period".

Hey... dear all,  what's happening there ?  Our Nation and its people  look at ISRO now through this lens.  This makes me very sad. I am sure you all former ISROites would feel so.

Kirankumarji, are you listening ?

Here is the full article. Please read and comment.
