Latest reports say :
Since last 20 months the issues related to minimum wage under 7CPC has been a subject matter of debate. Government employees and Pensioners have been waiting for last few months and it seems that the wait has been a long one which has added frustration on the matter. The fact that there has been no progress in the matter was also confirmed in the Lok Sabha. The latest on the issue is that a high-level committee has been constituted in this regard. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.
The Govdernment last month made it clear that the 7CPC is likely to be the last one. Instead of any Pay Commissions, the government was also considering to adjust salaries of government employees and pensioners when the Dearness Allowance (DA) crosses 50 per cent.
These are quite great news ! Don't hope for any Minimum Wage increase
Don't think about 8CPC !!
Is that the end of an era ?? Or....
